Dual Regulation

At the NHS Credit Union we are dual regulated by both the Financial Conduct Authority, and the Prudential Regulation Authority.
The Financial Conduct Authority egulate the conduct of nearly 50,000 businesses in the UK to ensure that financial markets are honest, competitive and fair.

The Prudential Regulation Authority regulates around 1,500 banks, building societies, credit unions, insurers and major investment firms.

Financial Services Compensation Scheme

Your eligible deposits with the NHS Credit Union are protected up to a total of £120,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme. Any deposits you hold above the limit are unlikely to be covered.
